SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The man that was found with a head injury from a fight near the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House has died. Police are still looking for the suspect.
KELOLAND News was at the scene Saturday night when police were investigating what police said was an aggravated assault.

Police responded a call of a fight and a man who was severely injured to the head. According to SFPD spokesman Sam Clemens, 24-year-old Jacob Scott Gallman Ringing Shield later died of his injuries at the hospital. Clemens said it’s still unknown what led up to the fight which happened on the north side of 8th Street.
Clemens said police don’t believe there is a threat to the public at this time, but are still looking for the suspect involved in the fight.
The death marks the second homicide this year for Sioux Falls. Police are asking people with any information about the fight to call police or Crime Stoppers.
