SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A housefire near Summit claimed the life of Cade Renville, son of law enforcement officer Steve Griffee and April Griffee.
A weekend housefire near Summit completely engulfed the house of Grant County Deputy Steve Griffee, leaving the family with nothing on top of the tragedy of losing a child.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Department also says that there will be more fundraiser information coming out in the future and asks the community to look for other ways to help alleviate some of the burdens of the tragedy.
