BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — The SDSU men gear up for a tough week ahead. The Jackrabbits, who are in sole possession of third place in the Summit League, host first-place Omaha on Thursday before heading down the interstate on Sunday for a showdown with USD, who is one game behind them in fourth.
“One day at a time, we’ll get better practice game, whatever it may be,” SDSU junior forward Matthew Mors said. “That’s just how we’re going to how we’re going to keep it. But obviously some big games this week, and so it’ll be fun. But we just know we got to take care of one game at a time.”
“We’re working on our connectivity, making sure we’re playing together, making sure we’re sharing the basketball at a high level,” SDSU head coach Eric Henderson said. “We’ve got things we want to get better at, but I’m really proud of this group.”
The Jackrabbits host Omaha Thursday at 7 pm. at First Bank & Trust Arena. Tipoff against the Coyotes in Vermillion is set for 1 p.m. Sunday.
