SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) – Aside from piles here and there, the snow from last week is gone, but it goes down in the books for my seasonal snow prediction.
Warm weather ahead today; Storm to watch this weekend
And while many of these days will be mild this week, there’s still time to get snow. In the meantime, here’s a look at the numbers.
Sioux Falls is now a little over a foot for the season, and we’re about 17 inches away from my prediction of 32.4″.
Aberdeen is a little over a third of the way there, while Pierre is around a quarter of my prediction. Rapid City is a little more than half way there.
We have two systems we’re watching for snow. One moves through this weekend and there’s another one that may move through as we officially start spring March 20th.
And we know how the snow can last into April, so as I said…there’s still time.
