Update: Suspect arrested in Sioux Falls fatal stabbing

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Police have arrested a suspect in a deadly stabbing on the west side of Sioux Falls.

The stabbing happened early Friday morning in the 35-hundred block of south Larch Avenue, near 41st Street and Marion Road.

Officers found a 45-year-old man in the hallway of a Meadowland Apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe a fight between the victim and another man led to the stabbing.

Police arrested 35-year-old Jordan Benedict Adams.

He’s charged with Second-Degree Murder, along with First-Degree Manslaughter and Aggravated Assault.

He’s being held in the Minnehaha County Jail.
