SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —It’s Master’s Week, which has golf fanatics both glued to their TVs but also working on their swing.
“It’s like Daytona 500, the Super Bowl, you know, it’s just– the whole experience has to be great,” golf fan Chuck Larson said.

In the spirit of Master’s Week, Golf Addiction in Sioux Falls is running a special sale.
“This is the week special that we do on our 30 day summer passes for $25 this week, you can come in and buy a 30 day summer pass, which gives you unlimited golf in here. Starting May 1st, where you can come and play as much as you want,” Adam Scott, a Golf Addiction owner, said.
The golf dedicated week has also motivated the business to have a special tournament.
“Starting tomorrow, we actually have a four person scramble that will benefit the boys and the girls golf team out at Jefferson High School. So we have a lot of the friends and family of the team and just golfers in general signing up to come in and help raise some money for the Jefferson golf team,” Scott said.
The crew over at Great Shots is also hosting a tournament this week.
“It’s kind of a unique format where there isn’t a specific start time. People are welcome to come in today, tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday and complete their scramble round of golf. To be competing for the chance to win, brand new Masters themed golf bag for you and the three people that you play with,” said Rich Drawdy, the director of operations at Great Shots.
Helping patrons kick off golf season the right way.
“If you’re a golf fan, you’re going to be distracted by the tournament. You’re not going to be doing a ton of work. So might as well just, put the computer away and come on out to great shots and enjoy it,” Drawdy said.
