PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — Here’s a look at some of the events scheduled at the state Capitol for Wednesday, March 12, the 36th working day of the 38-day 2025 session of the South Dakota Legislature.
Senate Commerce and Energy at 9:45 a.m. CT in room 412 to consider two reappointments to the state Economic Development Board and discussion of possible topics for interim study.
The Senate and the House of Representatives convene their general floor sessions at 10 a.m. CT. The Senate calendar has three state board appointees to consider and a decision whether to adopt the recommended calendar for the 2026 regular session. The House calendar has one conference committee report to consider.
Looking ahead to Thursday, House Government Operations and Audit at 8 a.m. CT in room 414 regarding the use and status of moneys that the state Department of Social Services received from HB 1093 from the 2024 legislative session.
