NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope reveals stunning image of star-forming region
NASA's James Webb Space Telescope captured breathtaking new imagery of Lynds 483, a star-forming region located 650 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Serpens. At the heart of L483, two protostars are actively forming, emitting shimmering ejections of gas and dust. According to astronomers, a protostar looks like a star but has not developed enough for fusion to take place.
