Car goes through ice Tuesday near Bryant

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A car broke through the ice near Bryant Tuesday morning.

According to a press release, the Hamlin County Sherriff’s Office and South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks were dispatched to a vehicle that broke through the ice on Tuesday morning Febuary 18th, 2025.

4 arrested following gunshot from moving vehicle

Watertown Regional Dispatch Center received the 911 call and sent officials out 5 miles northeast of Bryant near the intersection of 188th street and 440th Avenue near the Juntunen Waterfowl Production Area.

One adult and one child were able to get out of the vehicle without incident or injury.

The vehicle had to remain in the slough until the next day when it was recovered.
