FEMA approves $4.4M for 720 apps in southeast SD counties

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — FEMA has approved 760 applications in FEMA funding totaling $4,426,612 for storm victims in three South Dakota counties, according to a release Saturday.

FEMA county breakdowns:

Davison County approved applications 209, $726, 078 in FEMA funding

Lincoln County approved applications 245 $762,338 in FEMA funding

Turner County approved applications 58, $194,732 in FEMA funding

Union County approved applications 248, $2,743,464 in FEMA funding

Those who were affected by severe flooding, high winds and other storm-related effects may be eligible for FEMA assistance.

Disaster Recovery Center’s (DRC) are open in several southeastern areas of the state. A DRC will open in Davison County on September 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
