Jefferson splits in baseball, softball vs. Fargo teams

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Jefferson played teams from Fargo in both baseball and softball Friday afternoon at the Sanford Diamonds.

The top-ranked Cavaliers softball team claimed a pair of shutout victories. The Cavs defeated Fargo Davies and Shanley by identical 10-0 scores.

Jefferson fell to Fargo North 6-2 in baseball a few fields over as part of the North Dakota-South Dakota Border Battle. The event continues on Saturday.
