Man dies in Model A crash Friday near Wall

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A man died Friday morning from injuries he received in a single vehicle crash near Wall.

According to a S.D. Department of Public Safety release, a 73-year-old man was driving a 1929 Ford Model A westbound on I-90 near mile marker 110 at 9:43 a.m.

The Ford moved out of the westbound lane to the left and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle crossed the shoulder, entered the north ditch and rolled.

‘Appropriate charges will be filed’ in Henry investigation

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and declared dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

His name has not been released pending notification of family. The S.D. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
