Potential weapons violation call yields no threat

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Earlier this evening, Sioux Falls police were called to the area near the Empire Mall and Barnes & Noble for a potential weapons violation.

Police made contact with a group of juveniles, but no weapons were recovered. A sergeant with SFPD said that there was no threat to the public.
