SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Six people face charges after an officer pursuit that involved a stolen truck last night.

Police say a truck was reported stolen Tuesday afternoon. The Violent Crimes Unit later saw the truck that night and initiated a pursuit. The truck was found near the Empire Mall, and police received information that the six people had gotten into a different car which was later found by 6th Street and Sycamore Avenue.

“There was an apartment complex over there. So, those people were all found inside an apartment. And then they were arrested for the drug charges. And obviously there’s other aspects to that investigation as well, but that’s the main part of it,” Sam Clemens with the Sioux Falls Police Department said.

John Beck, Alexus Brown, Tatiana Cournoyer, Samira Harmon, Cevana Steele and Damion White were booked into the Minnehaha County Jail for maintaining a place where drugs are kept or sold.

Police say meth was found inside of the apartment. In court Wednesday afternoon, each person involved was given a PR bond.
