Hurricanes lead to $120 million impact on Disney theme park operations
During an earnings call on Wednesday, The Walt Disney Company reported domestic theme park revenue of $6.43 billion but experienced an approximately $120 million impact from hurricanes Helene and Milton. Hurricane Milton caused parks throughout Central Florida to close for about a day and disrupted the sailing of the company’s cruise ships from nearby Port Canaveral, Florida.
