On the current expected trajectory, the tropical storm will pass about 200 miles south of Hawaii, but any deviation to the north would increase impacts to the Big Island.
The National Hurricane Center is tracking three features in the Eastern and Central Pacific that are expected to make their way westbound during the next couple of weeks. The largest of the systems is Gilma, which is expected become a hurricane during the workweek.
