USD hosts celebration for Paralympian

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The closing ceremonies of the Paralympics took place today in Paris.

Meanwhile, the University of South Dakota is hosting a celebration this week for a freshman who won a silver medal at the games.

Miles Krajewski is studying business administration at USD.

Aircraft crashes near Wharf

The celebration will take place tomorrow afternoon at the Muenster University Center Pit Lounge.

It’s free and open to the public.

Krajewski and his mixed-doubles partner Jayci Simon won silver in badminton.

They are the first medalists in badminton in both U.S. Paralympic and Olympic history.
