SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s confirmation hearing for an appointment as Secretary of Homeland Security is taking place Saturday morning.
Noem was nominated to the post by President Donald Trump. She has been approved through the early steps toward confirmation.
Noem was confirmed Saturday morning in a vote of 59 to 34.
