As for customers who utilize the downtown location, Schiller says they may visit the Colonial Bank Branch location at 1801 South Minnesota Avenue.

Below is Schiller’s full statement to KELOLAND News:

“Wells Fargo is consolidating office and branch space in Sioux Falls, which remains home to the company’s primary subsidiary Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. We continually evaluate our real estate portfolio to ensure we are best meeting the needs of employees and customers, and Sioux Falls remains an important location to the bank. Later this year we will bring our Sioux Falls employees together at our Sioux Falls Operations Center location at 3201 N. 4th Avenue to continue to create a more collaborative work environment and strengthen our culture and sense of community at work. This location will also become the location for the Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. main office.

After May 7, 2025, banking services will no longer be available at 101 North Phillips Avenue, but customers may visit our Colonial bank branch location at 1801 South Minnesota Avenue for their banking needs.

Branches continue to play an important role in the way we serve our customers in combination with our mobile app, online website, and ATMs. We are actively investing in our branch network by opening new locations and refurbishing our entire network. As we optimize our branch network, we are focused on evolving our branch presence based on customer usage and the changing traffic patterns and retail landscape to best meet the banking needs of each community we serve.

We also are investing in our branch network. We recently refreshed our bank branch located at 5101 S. Cliff Avenue, south of 57th Street in southern Sioux Falls, including fresh paint, flooring, furniture, and signage. These enhancements provide a contemporary and engaging in-branch experience for our customers.”
