Omaha started the game on fire roaring to 16-4 lead before USD even knew what hit them.

The Mavericks hit eight of their first nine shots and then missed five in-a-row. USD tried to close the gap in that time, but it didn’t take long for Omaha to catch fire again.

Omaha shot a blazing 65% from the field in the first half, posting 55 points. At the same time, the Coyotes went 7-26 from the field and fell behind 55-26 at halftime.

The Mavericks cooled off a hair in the second half, but continued to make big plays and keep USD away from a potential comeback.

The Coyotes finish the year with a 19-14 record.
